Caregiver of the Month
Congratulations Tok L.!
Tok is a confident, steady caregiver who has encountered a variety of different client situations during her many years with RAD. We appreciate her flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments, sometimes even outside of her availability! Tok is willing to work for clients who need care on Sundays, and this is a significant help to the schedulers and to the clients she serves. Two of her current client situations often request changes to their appointments, and Tok willingly adjust her personal schedule to accommodate their needs. When they cancel with little notice, she remains positive and kind. Tok is an all-around helpful caregiver who puts her clients’ needs as her top priority. We are grateful for her kind heart and love for the elderly.
Tok’s previously worked as a preschool teacher, and she also spent many years taking care of her own mother-in-law. Serving other people is more than a job for her; it is her life-calling. Both the RAD office and the clients she serves are blessed to know Tok.
Congratulations Pat S.!
During the six years that Pat has been a RAD caregiver, she has been a strong advocate for the needs of her clients. She does not shy away from challenges, and is always looking for ways to positively change and improve her clients’ quality of life. Pat works well in teams of other RAD caregivers, striving to keep the needs of the client the top priority for everyone involved. She contacts the office often in order to keep the schedulers informed of any changes to her client situations. When she feels issues need to be addressed, she continues to communicate with the office staff and keep them updated until the situation is resolved. We appreciate the heart of concern and compassion Pat has for her clients, and we are confident that they are in great hands when she is with them.
Pat has a full life, caring for family members and working other jobs, but no matter how busy her personal life is, she remains devoted to giving her clients the time that they need. We are blessed to have Pat on our caregiving staff.
Congratulations Barb S.!
The schedulers call Barb S. “an angel from heaven.” They have lost count of the many, many times she has come to their aid with last minute assignments. She accepts open appointments that fit within her availability and willingly works all seven days of the week. The schedulers call her often, sometimes seven times a day, and she always responds with a friendly, positive spirit. Looking at her schedule, she has so many visits packed into each day that it is amazing how she keeps everything straight and does not forget visits! Barb not only is flexible with scheduling, but also every client she has visited has felt comfortable in her care and appreciated her service.
While she had no professional caregiving experience before coming to RAD, Barb spent thirteen years caring for her elderly mother until her mom passed away at the age of 101. Her heart for the elderly grew during that time, and now we are thankful that she shares her love with many RAD clients. We cannot say enough good things about Barb, except that we are so pleased to name her caregiver of the month for November 2014! She greatly deserves this recognition!
